Deckle — a writing studio for businesses with better things to do
Blog posts that rank. Email sequences that sell. A month of social posts in one delivery. Fixed prices, quoted upfront. No meetings — ever. You order, we write, you publish.
Three things, done properly. We'd rather be excellent at three than mediocre at twelve.
Four to twelve search-optimised articles a month, researched against what your customers actually type into Google. Written in your voice — we study your existing writing before we draft a word. Delivered publish-ready with meta titles, descriptions, and social posts for each.
4 / 8 / 12 articles · keyword research included · 1,200–1,500 words each
Welcome series, abandoned-cart flows, launch campaigns — five to seven emails per sequence, each with three subject lines and exact send timing. Comes with a plain-English guide for loading it into Klaviyo, Mailchimp, ConvertKit, or whatever you use.
1 or 3 sequences · 3 subject lines per email · setup guide included
Thirty posts for LinkedIn, Instagram, or X — hooks, captions, hashtags, and a dated calendar. Built on five content pillars we define for your brand, so it reads like a person with a point of view, not a posting schedule. Schedule the lot in one sitting.
30 posts per platform · calendar + hashtags · 5 content pillars defined
The entire process fits in three steps and zero calendar invites.
Pick a package, pay online, fill in the onboarding form. It asks about your business, your customers, and your voice. Honest answers beat polished ones.
Research, drafting, editing, fact-checking. You do nothing. If we need anything, it'll be one short email — we don't do "quick syncs".
Everything arrives organised and publish-ready, with plain-English publishing notes. Want changes? One full revision round is included, back within 48 hours.
No discovery calls. No strategy decks. No project-management app to learn. If you can fill in a form and read an email, you can work with us.
For scale: a decent freelance writer charges £250–£600 for one article. A traditional agency starts around £2,000 a month and would like a word about your "brand journey" first.

Yes, we use AI — heavily, and without embarrassment. It's how four researched articles cost £350 instead of £2,000, and arrive in a week instead of six. But nothing leaves this studio without a human reading every line: checking the facts, cutting the filler, and making sure it sounds like you rather than like software.
We won't tell you the writing will "transform your business", because we don't know your business yet. Here's what we will promise: it'll be properly researched, it'll sound like you, it'll arrive when we said it would, and if something misses the mark, we'll fix it within 48 hours. That's the whole pitch.
— Deckle, est. 2026. Small on purpose. (A deckle, since you'll wonder: the frame that gives handmade paper its rough edge. We liked the idea of words with an edge.)
The questions everyone asks, answered the way we'd want them answered.
It's AI-drafted, human-finished. AI does the research legwork and first drafts; a human edits, fact-checks, and rewrites anything that sounds like a robot wrote it. You're buying the finished result — ask for samples before you spend anything and judge for yourself.
The onboarding form asks for your existing writing, the brands you rate, and how you talk to customers. We build a voice profile from that before drafting. First order and something's off? That's what the included revision round is for — tell us specifically, and it's fixed within 48 hours.
Seriously. The 10-minute form covers what a discovery call covers, minus the small talk and the scheduling ping-pong. You can email us anything, any time, and get an answer within one working day. Clients tell us this is their favourite part.
Every package includes one full revision round with 48-hour turnaround. Be blunt with your notes — vague feedback gets vague fixes. We'd rather rewrite half the delivery than have weak work published with our name near it.
You do, entirely, the moment final payment clears. Publish it, chop it up, put your name on it. We'll never publish your deliverables anywhere, and we only reference anonymised results with written permission.
Card via Stripe (you'll get a secure payment link by email), or PayPal if you prefer. Under £500 is paid upfront; £500+ is split half and half. Retainers bill monthly in advance and cancel with 14 days' notice.
Usually within one working day of payment and a completed form. The clock on your delivery window starts when the form lands, not when you pay — so fill it in properly and the week goes to writing, not chasing.
Tell us what you need in a couple of sentences. You'll get a reply within one working day with a recommendation, a fixed quote, and a payment link. No follow-up sequence, no "just bumping this".
Not sure what you need? Say that. Recommending the right package is our job, not yours.
